ANNAPOLIS POOL SWIMMING LESSONS

Every summer the Annapolis Pool holds 4 sessions of Red Cross swimming lessons., with each session being 2 weeks long (Monday-Friday). The Red Cross offers preschool lessons for children under the age of 5, and levels 1 through 10 for children 5 and up. Signing your children up for swimming lessons will help them develop the necessary skills to becoming a competent swimmer in all strokes, as well as teach them the importance of behaving safely around water, ice, boats, etc. These lessons are also an essential starting block for those interested in pursuing bronze cross/medallion and lifeguarding in the future!

STRENGTHEN YOUR STROKE

For those interested in improving their swimming stroke techniques and partaking in fun exercise, this time is for you! Monday – Friday for one hour, the pool has experienced lifeguards instruct people on how to become better swimmers. Come out and SWIM!

ANNAPOLIS POOL AQUAFIT

Exercising in an aquatic environment is a great workout, as it is gentle on the joints and keeps you cool! Every Monday – Friday, our aquafit instructor will bring you into the pool for a one hour shallow and deep water workout. We use a variety of body weight exercises and water resistant movements to help you get the best workout possible. All ages and abilities are welcome! Our instructor is also a certified lifeguard to help maintain a safe exercising environment.
